NWSC ViVi Announcements
This document is to advise Staff at Narre Warren South P-12 College in how to use the Announcement function through the ViVI App.
Currently select staff can send Text message announcements into classrooms across the school through the ViVi AV system into classroom Screen's.

If you haven't already familiarised yourself in the use of of the ViVi app. You can read up here.
Vivi’s Announcements feature allows you to broadcast either live video streams or text messages to the Vivi displays throughout your organisation. If you have permission to use this feature, there will be an Announcements button at the top of the Vivi app. Select this button to begin.
Messages (Text Announcements)
On the Announcements page, ensure that Messages is selected at the top.
Use the Add Destination button to select the location the announcement will be sent.
Once the destination of the Announcement has been selected in the pop-up, select Add.
Type the Announcement to be displayed in the Message box. You can enter up to 150 characters which can include letters, numbers and symbols.
While typing, a preview of the Announcement will be shown on the left-hand side of the Vivi app.
Use the slider to choose how long the Announcement will be shown on the displays.
You can choose between 1 minute and 15 minutes. Vivi will default to 1 minute if the slider isn’t touched.
Select Send Now then, in the pop-up, confirm the details and select Send.
The Announcement will now be shown on the selected classroom displays. If the display is currently showing the splash screen, the Announcement will be shown at the top of the display. If the display is currently showing either signage or someone is sharing to the display, the Announcement will be shown at the bottom.
